Natural Indigo - 2nd Type Denim Jacket

The Lot.900 series is the top-of-the-line model of jeans made by BURGUS PLUS, which aims for the "ultimate basics". This jacket is the same top-of-the-line model as the jeans. This jacket is inspired by the 1950s, when denim, which was born as workwear, began to be incorporated into fashion. This 2nd type jacket was a pure evolution, with side adjusters to adjust the fit without taking it off, and two pockets instead of one. The ruggedness has disappeared, and it is perhaps a natural result that its sophisticated design has been recognized as fashion wear.
The fabric is a 14 oz. selvedge denim made of indigo yarn rope-dyed with natural indigo. Natural indigo takes time to dye. Thus, "Kase Dyeing (Skein Dyeing)" is commonly used to dye the yarn darker, but the "Kase Dyeing (Skein Dyeing)" method dyes the yarn down to the center of the yarn. However, the center of the yarn must remain white in order for the color to fade. It is the best part of denim. Although it was said to be impossible, rope-dyeing with natural indigo was finally developed after much research and trial and error by craftsmen. The natural indigo rope-dyed warp yarn used for this denim jacket is a mix of two different thicknesses. The combination of short slub yarns and long slub yarns, which have different thicknesses of knots, gives the fabric a complex uneven texture and stands out the beautiful colors unique to natural indigo. Natural indigo fades more slowly than synthetic indigo. However, the color does not just fade to whitish but rather changes naturally from indigo to blue which can only be achieved with natural indigo.
