1920年代初頭の日本では、一塁から三塁のベースに使用する布として「刺し子」縫いの布が使われていました。そのベースの布の表情を再現するため大正7年創業の武道具メーカーに生地の生産を依頼し20番手の綿糸を限界まで撚ることができる特殊な織機で凹凸が際立つように織り上げた「刺し子」生地を完成させました。その生地にパラフィンワックス加工とバイオウォッシュ加工を施し、風合いを柔らかくして洋服として着やすくした、刺し子ユニフォームジャケット。デザインはフロントの見返しを表に出してBaseballのユニフォームのような雰囲気にしており、サイドには大振りのハンドウォーマーポケットを配しました。
