This jacket is made from selvedge denim that combines softness and texture, reusing lint from Suvin cotton.

• This original denim fabric is made by separately collecting only the finest Suvin cotton—the long-staple cotton that falls off during the spinning process when short fibers and fuzz are trimmed to create a more uniform yarn—and blending it with standard Suvin cotton
• 11.5 oz selvedge denim woven on a shuttle loom using 7-count warp yarn and 9-count weft yarn
• By weaving on a shuttle loom, the unevenness and neps characteristic of lint are expressed naturally
• Features the distinctive smooth texture and excellent feel against the skin characteristic of Suvin cotton
• Based on a vintage design from the 1940s (commonly known as the "1st Model")
• Designed with practicality in mind, it features hand-warmer pockets—a detail not found on the original
• The back of the placket uses selvedge, and it incorporates laurel buttons and sewing specifications inspired by vintage denim jackets
• The split-back detail—a feature typically found only on rare, large-sized vintage jackets—has been incorporated into all sizes
• The three-dimensional aging process, with dramatic variations in shade, expresses the aging look of a jacket as if it has been worn in for a long time
