RECYCLED WASTE SUVIN COTTON YARN 11.5oz. DENIM PLEATED BLOUSE

This original denim fabric is made from a mixture of the finest Suvin cotton and the waste material that comes out when the Suvin cotton is spun. This 11.5oz selvedge denim is woven on a shuttle loom with 7-count yarn for the warp and 9-count yarn for the weft. It is characterized by the unevenness of the waste-cotton yarn, and neps and has the superior smoothness and comfortable feel typical of Suvin cotton. This denim jacket is based on a vintage denim jacket from the 1940s. It has hand-warm pockets at the waist, which are not found on the original vintage jackets. All sizes of this jacket incorporate the rare and valuable T-back style (the fabric is sewn together in a T-shape at the back), found only on the larger sizes in vintage.
