BP25908ZNT-NV-Size M
A collaboration item with "ZANTER", Japan's pioneer in down wear, that supported many expeditions, including the Antarctic Observation Team. It is a unique down jacket that uses down instead of cotton batting for the traditional Japanese cold-weather garment, the "Hanten". The outer fabric is a plain weave material recreating "Tsumugi," a fabric used for "Kimono", with cotton instead of silk. This fabric, with its appealing irregular thick knots, is exceptionally soft and pleasant to the touch, so it has long been used in Japanese daily life for items like "Chanchanko (traditional winter coats)" and "Furoshiki (wrapping cloths)". The design features the "Asanoha (hemp leaf)" pattern expressed through discharge printing. The filling, of course, is ZANTER's signature down. It features a golden ratio blend of 90% down and 10% feathers. Using only down would lack firmness, while too many feathers would diminish the fluffy feel. This showcases the unique skill of ZANTER, honed through years of crafting down products and a deep understanding of down's properties. It comes in one size only, but its wide silhouette, typical of a Hanten, should suit many people. Perfect for indoors, of course, but also for outings or a quick stroll. Could there be more relaxed wear than this?
