These selvedge jeans, made from original denim woven in Okayama Prefecture, are a signature item of Taiga Takahashi.

• Made of 100% American organic cotton
• 3/1 left-twill light-ounce denim woven on vintage shuttle looms in Okayama
• Woven at extremely low speeds—about 1/10 to 1/20 that of modern looms—creating the cotton's inherent unevenness and a deep, textured appearance
• Warp yarns dyed with sulfur-mixed indigo, evoking the greenish hue of deadstock denim
• Weft yarns use custom-made neppy yarn in a natural, yellowish color
• The combination of both yarns expresses the deep indigo blue envisioned by Mr. Takahashi
• Sanforized to reduce shrinkage after washing
• Features a high-rise design and a gently tapered silhouette from the thighs to the hem

• In the 1940s, changes began to appear in the details, such as the shift from rugged iron buttons to decorative snap buttons. Researching the Art Deco-style buttons and rivets commonly used at that time, these were recreated with original colors.

In 2017, designer Taiga Takahashi started Taiga Takahashi in New York. The brand concept is "to excavate archeological objects of the future by reviving relics of the past". He had collected more than several thousand pieces of clothing from 70 to 100 years ago through antique dealers overseas since he was a teenager. Through these collections, he researched clothes that could exist in the present or the future from the perspective of archaeology. Designer Taiga Takahashi passed away in April 2022, and the brand name was changed to "T.T" from the 2023-24 season.
