Based on 1920s denim trousers, these original denim pants are reconstructed through T.T.'s unique interpretation. They reflect workwear details from store brands, including JCPenney, that Taiga Takahashi beloved. These products embody Mr. Takahashi's philosophy, reflecting his thoughts on the store brands of that era—brands that likely underwent extensive trial and error to differentiate themselves from famous brands.

• Made of 100% American organic cotton
• 3/1 left-twill light-ounce denim woven on vintage shuttle looms in Okayama
• Woven at extremely low speeds—about 1/10 to 1/20 that of modern looms—creating the cotton's inherent unevenness and a deep, textured appearance
• Warp yarns dyed with sulfur-mixed indigo, evoking the greenish hue of deadstock denim
• Weft yarns use custom-made neppy yarn in a natural, yellowish color
• The combination of both yarns expresses the deep indigo blue envisioned by Mr. Takahashi
• Sanforized to reduce shrinkage after washing
• High-rise design with a wide silhouette that falls straight from the thigh to the hem
• Features 1920s-inspired details, including rounded front pockets and a buckle back
• All buttons and back parts are made of iron, unpainted to encourage natural aging
• Leather patch mud-dyed on Amami Oshima Island

In 2017, designer Taiga Takahashi started Taiga Takahashi in New York. The brand concept is "to excavate archeological objects of the future by reviving relics of the past". He had collected more than several thousand pieces of clothing from 70 to 100 years ago through antique dealers overseas since he was a teenager. Through these collections, he researched clothes that could exist in the present or the future from the perspective of archaeology. Designer Taiga Takahashi passed away in April 2022, and the brand name was changed to "T.T" from the 2023-24 season.
