- Although this jacket is based on military, Burgus Plus made it stylishly with wool fabric. Its design is based on the field parka 『M-47』 which was masterpiece adopted by the U.S. military.
- The waist belt, which is the icon of M-47, has been changed to an inner drawcord, and the material has been changed from double cotton poplin to supple wool dobby.
- Compared to wool melton, wool dobby has a little less wind resistance and heat retention, but the softness and outstanding lightness unique to wool are the characteristics.
- Since the original M-47 is an overcoat, it has a fairly loose silhouette, but this jacket has been reviewed for the curve of the sleeves and the size of the armholes, and can be worn over a shirt and sweater or jacket.

"BURGUS" comes from the word "fortresses" in Medieval Latin. "BURGUS PLUS" was named that the brand supposed it was a castle in one country, with hoping it would become a brand loved by people by creating high-quality products with attention to details. Also in order to aim for further evolution, PLUS was added to "BURGUS".
